How do I share my information with someone?

1. Open the ChainIT ID app: Launch the ChainIT ID app on your mobile device and log in.

2. Start the sharing process: On the home screen, click on Share My Info, then click Share My Identity Details.

3. Select the information to share: Click Edit, then click into each category to choose the specific personal information or data points you wish to share, such as your age, name, or other details.

   1. The app will generate a new QR code to share only the information you selected.

4. Select Your Security Settings: Choose how recipients must authenticate before viewing your information. There are several options: 
   1. Verified Viewer: Viewers must either create a ChainIT ID, or verify their phone number to view your shared information.
      1. Manual Approval - You will be notified and must approve a request whenever someone tries to access the link. 
      2. Auto-Approval - Authenticated users will be able to view your shared details. You will see their phone number or ChainIT ID in your access logs. 
   2. Public Link: Anyone can view the details shared in your link without authenticating.

5. Share the QR code or link: Click Share to send the QR code or link to the recipient via email, messaging, or have them scan the QR code directly.

6. Recipient views the information: The recipient can view the shared information securely through ChainIT Check, ensuring privacy and data protection.

This process allows you to share only the necessary information while keeping your other personal details secure.

(Optional) Revoke access: At any time, you can revoke a shared link to prevent future access to your details.

• Simply go to History > Links.
• Select a Link and click Revoke.
