How to Enable Location Permissions (iOS and Android)

ChainIT requires precise location access to support identity verification, fraud prevention, and secure transaction validation. If location access is turned off, some features will not work. This guide explains how to enable location permissions on your device.

iOS (iPhone)

  1. Open Settings
  2. Scroll down and tap Privacy & Security
  3. Tap Location Services
  4. Ensure Location Services is turned ON
  5. Scroll down and select ChainIT
  6. Set access to:
    • While Using the App or Always
  7. Enable:
    • Precise Location (must be ON)

Important:
Precise Location must be enabled to ensure accurate verification. Approximate location may cause actions to fail.

Android

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap Location
  3. Ensure Location is turned ON
  4. Tap App location permissions
  5. Select ChainIT
  6. Choose:
    • Allow only while using the app or Allow all the time
  7. Enable:
    • Use precise location (if available on your device)

Note:
Some Android devices label this as “Improve accuracy” or “High accuracy mode.” Ensure this is enabled.

Troubleshooting

If location is still not working:

  • Restart the app after changing settings
  • Ensure your device-level location services are enabled
  • Check that battery-saving mode is not restricting location access
