How to Import Customer Data Using CSV Upload

The Import feature allows you to bulk upload customer data into the system using a CSV file. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth import process.

Step 1: Access the Import Page

  1. Navigate to the Customers section.
  2. Click the Import button in the top right corner.

 


Step 2: Prepare Your CSV File

Ensure your file follows the correct format:

  • Required Columns:
    • Business Name
    • Business Email Address
    • Business Phone Number
    • Primary Contact Name
    • Primary Contact Email Address
  • Download a Sample CSV: Click the Download Sample Spreadsheet button to get a reference template.

Step 3: Upload Your File

  1. Click Upload Files or drag and drop your CSV file into the upload area.
  2. You can upload multiple files if needed (Max size: 10MB per file).
  3. Once uploaded, the files will be listed under Uploaded Files.

Step 4: Review and Confirm

  1. Click View Import Guide to ensure your file meets the required format.
  2. If needed, remove incorrect files by clicking the X next to them.
  3. Click Import to start the process.

Step 5: Monitor Import Status

  • Successfully imported data will reflect in the Customers list.
  • If errors occur, check the error message for corrections.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Ensure all fields are correctly formatted (e.g., valid email addresses, no missing required fields).
  • Check for duplicate records before importing.
  • Make sure the file size does not exceed 10MB.
