How to Import Customer Data Using CSV Upload
The Import feature allows you to bulk upload customer data into the system using a CSV file. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth import process.
Step 1: Access the Import Page
- Navigate to the Customers section.
- Click the Import button in the top right corner.
Step 2: Prepare Your CSV File
Ensure your file follows the correct format:
- Required Columns:
- Business Name
- Business Email Address
- Business Phone Number
- Primary Contact Name
- Primary Contact Email Address
- Download a Sample CSV: Click the Download Sample Spreadsheet button to get a reference template.
Step 3: Upload Your File
- Click Upload Files or drag and drop your CSV file into the upload area.
- You can upload multiple files if needed (Max size: 10MB per file).
- Once uploaded, the files will be listed under Uploaded Files.
Step 4: Review and Confirm
- Click View Import Guide to ensure your file meets the required format.
- If needed, remove incorrect files by clicking the X next to them.
- Click Import to start the process.
Step 5: Monitor Import Status
- Successfully imported data will reflect in the Customers list.
- If errors occur, check the error message for corrections.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Ensure all fields are correctly formatted (e.g., valid email addresses, no missing required fields).
- Check for duplicate records before importing.
- Make sure the file size does not exceed 10MB.
